What will my fingerprint impression look like?
Every fingerprint is different, a babies or young childs fingerprint may not yet be well developed, the detail and definition in the Jewellery will be a direct impression from the fingerprint you supply. Capturing the little creases in the joint of the finger, or taking a nail side impression of the finger, will add to the detail. Please take time to read the supplied instructions carefully to ensure you get the best result possible. Please note: fine lines and detail are unlikely to be visible on hand and foot prints due to the miniaturisation process.
How long until I receive my fingerprint jewellery?
The production leadtime options are indicated in the description of the product and start from 3 weeks.
Is there a limit to the amount of letters I can have engraved on my chosen piece?
The number of characters that can be engraved on each pendant or charm depends on the size and shape. Please refer to the description of your chosen product for specific details relating to that item.
Can I have a name or date put on the back of a charm?
Yes you can. Please see the options available and number of characters in the product description.
What will my fingerprint look like ?
All fingerprints are different, unique and individual to each person. The Fingerprint Jewellery examples featured on our website show a cross section of different impressions from very young babies to adults. The fingerprints of babies and young children are not as developed; therefore these impressions will show the shape and size of the finger, plus the little creases in the joint. Many people like to take the impression of the back of a babies finger, this will features all the little creases and the nail imprint. Older children's and adults fingerprints are much more defined, giving a typical fingerprint impression. There is no upper age limit for finger, hand or footprints. Larger fingerprints may well have an impact on the number of characters which are personalised, in which case we will inform you.
Please note: The fingerprint impressions on the featured Jewellery images on our website are examples of a cross section of impressions, we have included examples of babies, childrens and adults fingerprint impressions to give as wide a range of examples as possible ,each and every fingerprint impression will be different and unique, the shape and size of each impression and the amount of detail will differ on all impressions. Therefore the featured impressions are for illustrative purposes only. Please note: fine lines and detail are unlikey to be visible on hand and foot prints due to the miniturisation process.
